Superannuation in Estate Planning

If you have Superannuation, then you must include this in your estate planning when you make your Will and Enduring Power of Attorney.

Do you realise that Superannuation is separate to the assets which will fall into your Will?  Do you realise that if you do not act then your Superannuation Trustees will have a discretion as to where your Superannuation is paid after you die?

You must not let people you do not even know make a decision about where this valuable asset shall be paid.  The good news is you can direct what happens to your Superannuation, but it requires you to take action as part of your estate planning.

Download one of our free Superannuation eBooks from our resource library to obtain more information on this.

Better yet, contact McColm Matsinger Lawyers today and we can explain it to you and ensure that your Superannuation is paid where you would want it to go.
